For two days we invited various business support organizations and small rural tourism entrepreneurs to Anykščiai. At this stage of the project, we collaborated with an expert who also joined the meeting. The expert carried out a detailed market analysis and worked on the introduction of two new services. During the meeting, he presented his research and strategy for introducing new services to organizations. After presenting and arguing the results of the study, it was agreed that the help of digital marketing and the possibility to implement newsletters would really help every BSO to expand its services and become more competitive.
The communication strategy was also discussed and during the group work everyone tried to make a communication plan for themselves. In the course of the discussion, we raised a discussion about which of these services the participants in the meeting would be able to provide themselves, and which would need help or even additional human resources.

In the coming months, the Georgian Farmers’ Association and the Lithuanian countryside tourism association will integrate these two services into Lithuanian and Georgian business support organizations, and later pilot them.
